Clean and Dry lubricants are shown to drastically increase the life of equipment, whereby an ISO 4406 cleanliness rating going from 19/17/14 to 13/11/8 yielding a life extension of 300% for rolling element bearings. With a reduction in moisture from 500 ppm to 65 ppm yielding a similar 300% increase in bearing life.
